The new Katowice Airport website came in first in the "Website or mobile service/RWD – utility" category during the 9th edition of the Mobile Trends Awards gala. It is the most prestigious distinction for the mobile industry in Poland. For 2019, over 100 projects were submitted, and the jury nominated 44 in ten categories.

In its justification for winning the "Website or mobile service/RWD – utility" category, the jury wrote that the new Katowice Airport website is a "complex, useful and convenient website for such a difficult object as an airport." The new website was realized – on the basis of principles prepared by Górnośląskie Towarzystwo Lotnicze SA, the operator of Katowice Airport – Netizens.
