In the third month of 2024, Katowice Wojciech Korfanty Airport handled 313 828 passengers. It was the best March in the airport's history; the network of flights offered by air carriers and tour operators was chosen by 37 994 passengers more (+13.8%) than in the same time in 2023, when Katowice Airport handled 275 834 persons.

From January to the end of March 2024, 925 209 passengers were handled at Katowice Airport, or 130 204 more (+16.4%) than in the first quarter of 2023. Resultantly, it was the best first quarter of the year in the history of Katowice Airport.
