In February 2024, record-breaking 303 860 passengers were served at Katowice Airport, i.e. 51 767 more (+20.5%) in comarison with the second month of 2023. It was the best February in the airport's history; in comparison with record February 2020, when 264 895 persons travelled via the Katowice Airport network of flights, 38 965 passengers more (+14.7%) were handled in February 2024.

611 381 passengers were handled from January to the end of February 2024, i.e. 92 210 more (+17.8%) than last year. Consequently, January and February 2024 were the best two first months of a year in the airport's history.
