The fourth week of May 2019 saw Wizz Air celebrate its 15^th anniversary and the 200 million passengers it has flown as part of its global network in that time.
 
Wizz Air’s first-ever operating base was at Katowice Airport, where airline’s first Airbus A320 was stationed and its inaugural flight took place – 19 May 2004 to London-Luton.
