15 years Wizz Air at Katowice Airport
200 million passengers throughout its global network
The fourth week of May 2019 saw Wizz Air celebrate its 15th anniversary and the 200 million passengers it has flown as part of its global network in that time.
Wizz Air’s first-ever operating base was at Katowice Airport, where airline’s first Airbus A320 was stationed and its inaugural flight took place – 19 May 2004 to London-Luton.
