In September 2025, air carriers handled 887,205 passengers as part of the Katowice Airport network of flights; that's 104,394 passengers more (+13.3%) in comparison with the same time last year. It was the best ninth month in the history of Katowice Airport; the previous record-breaking result for this time was noted in 2024, when 782,811 persons were handled.

Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines and Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa carried 344,763 passengers on regular flights to/from Pyrzowice, i.e., 42,427 more (+14.0%) than last year. 530,163 passengers were noted on charter flights, i.e., 51,767 more (+10.8%) than in September 2024. In the ninth month of 2025, Katowice Airport saw 6,161 aircraft takeoffs and landings, i.e., 635 more (+11.5%) in comparison with the same time last year.

With September, the third quarter of 2025 came to an end. Between the beginning of the year and the end of September, Katowice Airport handled record-breaking 5,836,581 passengers, i.e., 723,962 more (+14.2%) than during the first nine months of 2024. During this time, 2,659,128 passengers were handled on regular flights  271,860 more (+11.4%) than last year – and 3,138,781 passengers on charter flights, i.e., 430,280 more (+15.9%) in comparison with the same time in 2024.

During the first three quarters of 2025, Katowice Airport noted 42,507 takeoffs and landings, i.e., 4,224 more (+11.0%) than last year.
