During twelve full months of 2025, air carriers and travel agencies handled 7 299 085 passengers on flights to/from Katowice Airport; that's 912 940 passengers more (+14.3%) than in the same time in 2024.

2025 was the best year in the history of Katowice Airport. For the first time in the airport's history, more than 7M passengers were handled in a calendar year; the record-breaking result was noted on 9 December 2025 (Thursday). Last year, record-breaking result for a single month was also noted; in August, 978 903 passengers were handled.

From January to the end of December 2025, 53 918 aircraft takeoffs and landings were noted, that's 5 413 operations more (+11.2%) than in the same time last year.
