During the third month of 2025, airlines handled 376 898 passengers on regular and charter flights to/from Katowice Airport, i.e. 63 070 more (+20.1) than last year. It was the best March in the history of Katowice Airport; the result from 2024, when 313 828 persons were noted, was beaten. On 24 March, the one-millionth passengers in 2025 was handled. Never before have so many passengers been served so quickly; the previous result for one million passengers was noted on the night of 8 April 2024.

In March 2025, Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines and Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa carried 234 914 passengers on regular flights to/from Katowice Airport, i.e. 21 413 more (+10.0%) than last year. During the third month of the year, 141 217 travellers flew on flights handled on behalf of travel agencies; that's 42 646 passengers more (+43.3%) than in March 2024.

In the third month of 2025, Katowice Airport noted 3 109 aircraft takeoffs and landings, i.e. 173 more (+5.9%) in comparison with the same time in 2024.

With March, the first quarter of 2025 came to an end. During that time, Katowice Airport handled 1 090 189 passengers, i.e. 164 980 more (+17.8%) than during the first three months of 2024. 657 556 persons – 28 883 more (+4.6%) than in 2024 – flew on regular flights, while 415 438 passengers122 329 more (+41.7%) than in 2024 – were noted on charter flights.

From January to the end of March, 8 872 takeoffs and landings – 656 more (+8.0%) than last year – were registered at Katowice Airport.
