Fly to the Sun from Katowice Airport
Winter 2026/2027 Flight Schedule
On Sunday, 25 October, the flight schedule will switch from the summer to the winter season. Passengers travelling from Katowice Airport will have access to 71 scheduled and charter routes. The winter offering includes several new destinations as well as, as every year, long-haul flights operated by wide-body aircraft, including the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and Airbus A330-300.
Among the new routes, Air Arabia will make its debut at Katowice Airport. Starting from 17 December 2026, the airline will connect Katowice Airport with Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Sharjah serves as an important transfer hub, offering onward connections to destinations including India, Thailand, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia.
At the end of October, Wizz Air will launch flights to the Egyptian resort destinations of Hurghada, Marsa Alam, and Sharm El Sheikh. Other additions to the winter schedule include Ryanair’s service to Naples, which will commence on 3 December, as well as seasonal flights to Turin, operated by both Ryanair and Wizz Air.
New destinations will also be available in the charter segment. Tour operators will offer winter holiday packages to Porto Santo in the Madeira Archipelago, Puerto Vallarta in Mexico, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam, and Liberia in Costa Rica. Passengers will be able to choose from destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
