Terminal D (Arrivals)
Building to be used to handle selected charter flights from Schengen Area
An additional arrivals area was put into service at Katowice Airport. It will help provide proper standard of passenger service during moments of intense summer traffic.
In the new building, designated "Terminal D," handled will be some charter flights from Schengen Area countries. The terminal was launched in the building which in the past was the first cargo terminal at Katowice Airport.
The total surface of terminal D is 1 805 sq. m. It is equipped with one luggage belt (length: 100 m) with two unloading lines, allowing to handle two flights simultaneously.
Warning – passengers using transfer from P2 and private car parks at Katowice Airport are requested to indicate the terminal while calling for transfer.
