Katowice Airport

October this year was the best 10th month in the history of the airport in Pyrzowice.

Overall, Katowice Airport handled 225 820 passengers, which is 16 300 (+ 7.8%) more than in October 2013.

From the beginning of the year, 2 398 869 passengers were handled, which was 150 000 (+6.7%)  more than from January to October last year.

Forecasts indicate that the total passenger traffic for 2014 will be around 2.7 million, of which approximately 1 million will come from charter traffic (last year it was approx. 760 000).
