In the third week of April 2024, Ryanair handled the first flights on five new regular routes.

On 15 April (Monday), the Irish carrier launched flights to Rome-Fiumicino and Malta. Both routes are available three times a week: flights to the capital of Italy are handled on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, while Malta is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

On the next day, the airline commenced flights to Bari, Italy. The route is available twice a week, i.e. on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

On 17 April 2024, the first operation to Zadar in Croatia was handled. The destination is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

The fifth and last new route – to Alicante, Spain – launched on 19 April (Friday). The route is operated twice a week, i.e. on Fridays and Sundays.

During the "Summer 2024" season, the Irish carrier will offer passengers travelling from Katowice Airport 20 routes to 11 countries.
