2012-03-26SAS flights to Copenhagen

On Monday 26 March, Scandinavian airline SAS performed its inaugural flight from Katowice Airport to Copenhagen, the carrier's largest transfer airport. Flights from Katowice Airport to the Danish capital are timetabled to take place four times a week - Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and will be operated by Bombardier CRJ 200 (50-seater) or CRJ 900 (88-seater) aircraft.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, passengers of the inaugural SAS flight from Katowice to Copenhagen were offered a piece of a Viking-ship shaped cake. Every passenger travelling to the Danish capital also received a token memento. Photos from this event are available here.
