2010-04-02Cargojet - flights extended to end 2011

LOT Polish Airlines and Canadian air carrier Cargojet have reached the joint-decision to extend the rental agreement on the Boeing 767-200 ER freight aircraft. This agreement's first flight took place on 10 April 2010. Flights will continue to take place every weekend. The first transatlantic all-cargo route in the history of Polish aviation was opened on 8 November, 2009. In the January-February 2010 time period, the load factor on the Hamilton-Katowice-Hamilton route was 71% capacity. The decision to extend the agreement on flights to Canada is the effect of high degree of interest in this service from the partners of LOT Polish Airlines in Europe and North America.
