2011-02-22LOT Polish Airlines to Turin and Munich onboard an Embraer 170

LOT Polish Airlines will be operating a larger aircraft from Katowice Airport on the Turin and Munich routes, starting from the spring/summer 2011. The 48-seater Embraer 145 will be replaced by a larger and newer machine - the 70-seater Embraer 170. Flights to Munich from Katowice will be operated twice a day from Monday to Friday and once every Sunday, whereas once a day, every day with the exception of Saturday, passengers will be able to fly to Turin. In addition, from 27 March this year, LOT Polish Airlines will increase the number of flights from the airport in Pyrzowice to Warsaw. In 2010, LOT Polish Airlines transported 70 644 passengers on regularly scheduled flights - 60% more than in 2009.
