2010-06-01From 1 June Katowice - Warsaw three times a day

From 1 June, LOT Polish Airlines is increasing the number of flights from Warsaw to Katowice. Until now the carrier offered only one connection a week on this route. From the beginning of June, three flights every day will be available from the capital to Katowice.

LOT Polish Airlines is the only carrier providing a connection by air between Warsaw and Katowice. Flights on this route will be offered three times a day from Monday to Friday. Three flights from Warsaw to Katowice will operate on Sundays and two flights from Katowice to Warsaw will operate on Saturdays and one on Sundays.

This route will be mostly operated by ATR-42 aircraft able to seat 46 passengers. LOT Polish Airlines is prepared to substitute this aircraft for ATR-73 or ERJ-145 should interest in these flights require larger aircraft.

This offer is aimed towards a diverse group of passengers, from business people, tourists and passengers travelling onwards on transatlantic flights. The timetable has been prepared in such a way as to accommodate travellers on the route to Warsaw - Katowice, as well as transit passengers travelling on to destinations in North America and the majority of European cities.
