2005-04-18Wizz Air 1 million carried passengers in 11 months

Wizz Air, the biggest low fare, low cost airline in Poland today carried its ONE MILLIONth passenger. The lucky passenger was travelling from London Luton airport to Katowice International Airport. She is granted an unlimited possibility to fly free with a companion for a whole year on any Wizz Air route.

The one million passenger number was achieved in the record time of just over 11 months after the first take off. This unique result clearly indicates the growing demand for low cost travel in the Central and Eastern European region and for Wizz Air's value offering. The offer is based on low fares combined with great customer experience including easy booking and access to a variety of complimentary travel products, the comfort and reliability of young Airbus A320 fleet and customer minded staff. Wizz Air's low fares are the result of efficiency and cost base which is the lowest among all the airlines of the region.
