In April, Katowice Airport handled 236 787 passengers overall. This translates to 37 000 more (+18.7%) than in the fourth month last year. In terms of regularly-scheduled services, the airport in Pyrzowice handled 201 149 passengers, 26 212 more (+15%) than in April 2016.

Significant growth was also recorded in charter traffic. Katowice Airport handled 34 638 passengers, 10 383 more (+42.8%) than in the same time period last year.
