Beginning with January 15, 2020, Ryanair will offer a new, previously unavailable, route from KTW: Kherson, Ukraine. Flights to the location will occur twice a week: on Wednesdays and Sundays. The route will be also accessible during the "Summer 2020" schedule.

Furthermore, Ryanair will introduce a new seasonal route at Katowice Airport next summer, namely: Burgas, Bulgaria. Itwill be available twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays - from June to August. Burgas is the twentieth connection made available as part of the "Summer 2020" schedule at KTW.

Wizz Air also offers seasonal flights to Burgas. During the next summer season, the Hungarian carrier will offer flights between Katowice Airport and Burgas Airport from June to September.
