Katowice Airport handled a total of 2 027 927 passengers in the first half of 2019, which translates to 41 594 more (+ 2.1%) compared to the corresponding time period last year.

From January to June this year 1 330 861 people used Katowice Airport’s network of regular connections, which is 6 151 more (+ 0.5%) compared to the first half of last year. In terms of charter traffic, Katowice Airport handled 691 823 passengers, which is 35 707 more (+ 5.4%) than in the first six months of 2018.

The first half of the year ended with a record result in the cargo segment. A total of 9 786 tonnes of freight was transported, which is 447 tonnes more (+ 4.8%) compared to the first six months of 2018.
