Ryanair opens base and 11 new routes
Expansion of Irish carrier at Katowice Airport
Ryanair, Europe’s largest low-cost airline, opened a new operating base at Katowice Airport towards the end of October 2019. In doing so, the carrier also launched 11 new routes from KTW.

- Brindisi (2 per week)
- Cork (2 per week)
- Dortmund (10 per week)
- Göteborg (2 per week)
- Catania (2 per week)
- Kiev (4 per week)
- Cologne/Bonn (3 per week)
- Manchester (3 per week)
- Oslo-Torp (3 per week)
- Paphos (1 per week)
The summer 2019 timetable has Ryanair 6 routes from Katowice Airport: Athens, Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, London-Stansted and Milan-Bergamo.
All the routes from this year’s summer timetable will also feature in the winter timetable.
Overall, the winter 2019/2020 timetable will boast a record-breaking 17 Ryanair regularly-scheduled routes from Katowice Airport.
