Air Arabia to Launch Flights from Katowice Airport
The inaugural flight to Sharjah is scheduled for 17 December 2026
Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced the launch of a direct service between Sharjah Airport (SHJ) and Katowice Airport (KTW). Starting on 17 December 2026, flights will operate four times a week: on Thursdays, Saturdays, Mondays and Fridays. The route will be served by Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The new service will provide passengers with a convenient and affordable travel option between the United Arab Emirates and southern Poland, while expanding the airline’s European network.
Thanks to the new route, residents of southern Poland will enjoy even better access to Air Arabia’s extensive network. At Sharjah Airport, the carrier offers quick and convenient connections to numerous destinations in Asia, including Thailand, India, the Maldives and Sri Lanka. The new service will also make it easier for residents of the United Arab Emirates to travel to Poland for both leisure and business purposes.
Air Arabia’s fleet consists exclusively of modern Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, ensuring reliable and comfortable travel. The airline offers its free SkyTime wireless in-flight entertainment service and the paid SkyCafe food and beverage menu. Passengers can also benefit from Air Rewards, the most comprehensive loyalty programme in the region.
Tickets for direct flights between Sharjah and Katowice can be booked via Air Arabia’s website, call centre or travel agencies.
