In the eighth month of 2025, Katowice Airport handled over 978 thousand passengers, i.e., 112 thousand more (+13%) in comparison with the same month in 2024. August 2025 was the best month in the airport's history; the previous best monthly result, achieved in July 2025, when 959 thousand passengers were noted at Katowice Airport, was surpassed.

In August 2025, Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines and Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa handled 372 thousand passengers on regular flights, i.e., 46 thousand more (+14.2%) than in August 2024. 604 thousand persons, i.e., 66 thousand more (+12.4%) than last year, were handled on charter flights. In August 2025, Katowice Airport noted 6 592 takeoffs and landings, i.e., 797more (+13.7%) than in 2024.

From January to the end of August 2025, Katowice Airport handled 4.95M passengers, i.e., 619 thousand more (+14.3%) than last year.
