In May 2025, airlines handled 655 818 passengers on regular and charter routes to/from Katowice Airport, i.e. 72 707 more (+12.5%) than in 2024. 312 359 persons were served on scheduled flights, which are handled by Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines and Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa, i.e. 28 994 more (+10.2%) than last year. 342 127 travelers flew on charter flights, i.e. 43 938 more (+14.7%) than in May 2024.

During this year's fifth month, Katowice Airport noted 4 863 aircraft takeoffs and landings, i.e. 313 more (+5.9%) than in 2024.

From January to the end of May 2025, Katowice Airport handled 2 171 616 passengers, i.e. 304 884 more (+16.3%) in comparison with the same time in 2024. 1 246 804 travelers flew on regular flights, i.e. 88 325 more (+7.6%) than last year, while 905 154 persons were noted on charter flights, i.e. 202 549 more (+28.8%) than in 2024.

During the first five months of 2025, Katowice Airport saw 17 461 aircraft takeoffs and landings, i.e. 1 441 more (+9.0%) than last year.
