Lufthansa launched flights on the Munich-Katowice-Munich route on 27 March 2018.

The inaugurating flight (LH1608) left Munich at 11:15am and landed in Katowice at 12:35pm. The return flight took off at 1:10pm and landed in the Bavarian capital at 2:30pm.

Services are operated every day by a Bombadier CRJ900 aircraft which can carry up to 90 passengers in Business and Economy classes.
