On 10 November 2023 (Friday), the first direct long-haul charter flight to the island of Margarita in Venezuela took place. The route will be handled once a week (on Fridays) for Rainbow Tours. Flights will be operated by a wide-body Airbus A330-200, the property of Plus Ultra from Spain.

During the "Winter 2023/2024" season, Rainbow Tours offers six direct long-haul charter routes at Katowice Airport. In addition to Margarita, passengers may fly from Katowice Airport to The Domincan Republic (Puerto Plata), Mexico (Cancun), Cuba (Varadero), Thailand (Bangkok) and Vietnam (Phu Quoc).
