The first month of 2017 was a promising start for Katowice Airport and there were pleasing results in all sectors of passenger traffic: overall, regular and charter services. 

Oerall, Katowice Airport handled 184 694 passengers, which is  11 676 more (+6.7%) than in January last year.

In terms of regularly scheduled services, Katowice Airport handled 157 277 passengers, which is 9767 more (+6.6%) in comparison to January 2016.

25 895  passengers flew out on holidays from Katowice Airport. This is 2290 more (+9.7%) than in the first month last year.
