Terms of transport

Air transport of passengers, luggage and freight is regulated by accepted principles, including:

  • Convention on the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air, signed in Warsaw on October 12, 1929.
  • The Warsaw Convention with changes introduced by the Hague Protocol of 28 September 1955, Additional Protocol No. 1 from Montreal (1975), the Hague Protocol and Additional Protocol No. 2 from Montreal (1975)
  • Convention Suppelementary to the Warsaw Convention of Guadalajara (1961)
  • Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air, signed in Montreal on 28 May 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the Montreal Convention) and conditions specified by the carrier.

At the check-in desk no.18 in Terminal B there is a free telephone with direct contact with the Customs and Tax Service: extension no.158. Here you can declare goods with regards to customs and settle issues related to VAT.
