The new route will operate twice a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays – during the Summer season. Following the inauguration of the new route, Ryanair will offer five connections between Katowice and Italy; in addition to Alghero, the Irish airline will fly to Bologna, Brindisi, Catania, and Milan-Bergamo.

During the „Summer 2020” schedule, Wizz Air will also offer flights from Katowice Airport to Alghero. The route will operate on every Thursday and Sunday from June 14 to September 20, 2020.
