In January 2018, Katowice Airport handled a record-breaking number of passengers: 233 523 passengers, overall, which is 48 829 more (+26.4%) in comparison to the first month last year.

Last month, there was growth in both regularly-scheduled, as well as charter services. Overall, timetabled services attracted 191 586 passengers, translating to 34 309 more (+21.8%) than in January 2017. Katowice Airport's winter holiday timetable attracted 39 523 passengers, which is 13 628 more (+52.6%) in comparison to the corresponding month last year.
