Important information for passengers travelling to Great Britain and Spain
Rules related to crossing the border
GREAT BRITAIN
From 1 October 2021, all passengers travelling from Poland to the United Kingdom will have to have a valid passport while crossing the border.
The above does not apply to persons who have settled or pre-settled status and who were granted such a status on the basis of an Identity Document; such persons will be allowed to enter the United Kingdom on the basis of their ID card until the end of 2025.
SPAIN
From 27 September 2021, all passengers over 12 who are travelling from Poland to Spain must show a negative coronavirus test result in Spanish or English upon arrival. Accepted tests:
- NAAT tests (e.g. RT-PCR, RT- LAMP, TMA). Warning: the test must be carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival.
- Antigenic. Warning: the test must be carried out within 48 hours prior to arrival.
The above does not apply to passengers who:
- Hold a documentary evidence of vaccination which proves that at least 14 days have passed since taking the last dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
- Hold a certificate of recovery, provided that 11-180 days have passed since the first positive test was performed.
Warning: All passengers travelling to Spain must register on the Spain Travel Health website and generate a QR code within 48 hours before the journey.
