Katowice Airport

February 2009 saw 145 250 passengers use Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice - 3% more than in the corresponding period in 2008. 12 885 of these were charter passengers - a 33% increase in this segment of passenger traffic in comparison to February 2008. It's worth mentioning that this result was achieved despite there being a recession in the airline and air travel industry as well as the fact that February last year was one day longer than this year.
