2005-04-18FlyNet® - Lufthansa takes the Internet to new heights

Since spring 2004 Lufthansa is the first airline to offer a broadband Internet service with its own free portal. It means you can now use your time on board to do all the things you didn't get done on the ground or didn't have the opportunity to do in the air.

With FlyNet® you can be cruising high above the clouds, and yet still go online. Thanks to broadband Internet access from our service provider Connexion by Boeing, you can surf the World Wide Web, send and receive e-mails with attachments and even log on to your company's Intranet. In addition to this extra-cost service, there's also the FlyNet® portal, which you can access free of charge. It features the latest news, comprehensive travel information, shopping facilities and much more besides.

FlyNet® is set to be introduced on Lufthansa's 78 long-haul planes by summer 2006. Furthermore the FlyNet® service will be activated on all equipped aircraft
